Eight months ago we found Sprite on the street, dirty and dehydrated, and brought her into our family. She’s been the sweetest, most outgoing girl you can imagine, and she’s made our home a much brighter place.
About a month ago, we noticed that she wasn’t chewing very well and then we saw a growth on her gums. The vet is not sure what the mass is yet, and she needs a surgery to have it removed and a biopsy done to ensure it’s not cancerous. This is coming just a month after our baby girl, Luna, was suddenly diagnosed with large-cell lymphoma and was put to sleep, so any emergency vet funds have been wiped out.
Any help is greatly appreciated, even if it’s just sharing this around. Thank you so much, and happy holidays!

There’s something about the creatures that come out at night, we’ll truly never really know what they get up to.

“[The] average daydream is about fourteen seconds long and [we] have about two thousand of them per day. In other words, we spend about half of our waking hours — one-third of our lives on earth — spinning fantasies.”— The Storytelling Animal – the science of how we came to live and breathe stories.
